Augen

Standard richten.

Eyes

Several times I have been asked questions about Mo's eyes and the genetic predisposition of Shar Pei for entropion.

Therefore, I would like to explain.

Maotai, like all Traditional Shar Pei, has dark, almond-shaped, wide opened eyes.

He does not need a special eye care, nor are there any signs of entropion, which is nice to watch on the pictures of him and his parents.

In the country of origin of the Shar Pei, China, the entopium/ectropion problem is almost non-existent.

As a responsible breeder one should breed according to the valid F.C.I. Standard.
